‘Pit Stop’ Social/Meeting
Regular meetings of members of the club are held on the last Thursday of the month, at the Gabriola Golf Club. Meetings are social events, and many members arrive during the hour before the meeting starts to enjoy food and drinks together. In addition to reports and updates about club membership, finances, and activities, we sometimes have guest speakers, and always the popular quiz and half & half prize draw. Once a year, we hold our brown bag fund-raising auction, in which members bid, sight-unseen, on automotive-related donations.

Canada Day Parade 2026
Our annual parade of vintage and enthusiast cars will take place on Wednesday 1 July, and will follow the same route as last year.
- 9:00 AM Muster at Twin Beaches (Gabriola Sands Provincial Park)
- 10:00 AM Depart Twin Beaches
- Left turn on to Berry Point Road; up Norwich Hill; through the Phase 4 neighbourhood; take the Spruce-Church connector; past the Medical Centre on Church Street; pause at North Road, and then turn left.
- Follow North Road past the Horseshoe corner; turn left on Barrett and down the hill to Whalebone.
- Follow Whalebone and turn left on to Tashtego Crescent (short segment of unpaved road); turn right back onto Whalebone again, turn right and head back to Barrett; turn left on North Road.
- Follow North Road all the way to the ‘south end’, past Silva Bay, and continue on South Road to El Verano Drive.
- Turn left onto El Verano Drive and follow around past boat launch; turn left back on to South Road.
- Follow South Road to the police station; turn left onto Dirksen Road; follow through onto Stephens Road; turn right at the T-junction onto Pat Burns Road; turn right on Penty Avenue; right again on Duthie Avenue; and left back onto Stephens then Dirksen and back to South Road.
- Turn left on South Road and head straight past the post office and down ferry hill; turn right on Taylor Bay Road and follow back to Twin Beaches Park.
- End time approximately 11:30 AM.
Driver Information: Please stay legally close to the car in front of you to avoid falling behind, getting lost etc. The parade will be conducted obeying all traffic laws. We will pause from time to time for anyone who needs to catch up. Gabriolans who are not members of the Cruisers Club yet, who have vintage or other specialty vehicles are invited to participate in the parade. Decorated vehicles are encourage
