‘Pit Stop’ Social/Meeting
Regular meetings of members of the club are held on the last Thursday of the month, at the Gabriola Golf Club. Meetings are social events, and many members arrive during the hour before the meeting starts to enjoy food and drinks together. In addition to reports and updates about club membership, finances, and activities, we sometimes have guest speakers, and always the popular quiz and half & half prize draw. Once a year, we hold our brown bag fund-raising auction, in which members bid, sight-unseen, on automotive-related donations.
The next social/meeting is at 7 PM on Thursday 28 May 2026.

Saltspring Island Run
On Sunday 7 June, the club will make a run to Salt Spring Island. If you are planning to participate, please RSVP to the membership secretary by Monday 18 May so we can confirm numbers for our restaurant reservation.
Participants should aim to catch either the 10:10 AM or 11:25 AM sailing of the Quinsam ferry from Crofton to Vesuvius. We’ve not planned a convoy, but feel free to arrange with your friends, or coordinate with other drivers leaving Gabriola.
We will meet for brunch/lunch at 1:00 PM at the Salt Spring Inn at 132 Lower Ganges Road. Parking can be a challenge in Ganges, so leave time to find somewhere and a possible walk to the restaurant.
There are nice roads up around the north end of Salt Spring, and down to the farming areas in the south.
